The Lirene Science Laboratory team consists of a number of experts from different fields: biologists, chemists, biotechnologists, pharmacists and doctors. They are responsible for developing beauty programmes to satisfy the customers' expectations and give their skin what it truly needs.
In the early product development phase, the Lirene Science Laboratory experts begin with understanding what the customers expect and what their skin needs in terms of beauty treatment. Then, they analyse their own research, global trends and latest solutions in cosmetology. When the idea for the product gets specific, the process of creating the product begins - its ingredients, effects and packaging.
At every stage of the process, the product's safety is quality tested. The effects of key active ingredients and their safety undergo in vitro tests supervised by experts.
The effects of ready products are proved in vivo, using the double method, both in instrumental tests and subjective surveys that check the customers’ opinions after using the products at home.

Lirene offers nearly 200 various beauty options for facial and body care as well as foundations and sunscreens. Selecting a product to match the needs of every customer is even easier thanks to a transparent division into separate, yet complimentary product lines for different beauty purposes, age groups or skin types.
The Lirene brand portfolio consists of specialised product lines for different skin types (normal and combination, dry, very dry, oily and combination, sensitive and allergy-prone, couperose) as well as a unique anti-wrinkle folic acid based treatment programme – Lirene Folacin. For those with hypersensitive skin type, Lirene recently released a specialised line of cosmetics for daily body care, and a series of sunscreen products for sensitive skin type, prone to allergies and irritation.
The environment
Protecting the environment is not a task for the generations to come.
Therefore, the female scientists from the Lirene Science Laboratory developed two new product lines: Lirene Natura, for face and body care, and Eco Baby — to take care of babies’ and children’s sensitive skin. These products contain 95% natural origin ingredients and come in environmentally-friendly packaging. To further highlight the origin of the ingredients and environmental approach, the experts initiated the certification process of selected products by independent international body, Ecocert.
Next to body and face care products, Lirene also offers a number of make-up options. The product range includes make-up bases, foundations, powders, highlighters and bronzers which not only beautify the skin but also treat it.
